Brigitte Gabriel: “Everyone wants to find waste, fraud, and abuse in this country – until somebody actually does it.”

This is an example of what  Bertrand Russell called “Sunday truths.” Everyone professes them in church on Sunday, then ignores them entirely the other days of the week.

Root out waste, fraud, and abuse? Absolutely! But don’t mess with the benefits and payments I get. All too human. But if too many people feel this way, nothing ever gets done, and the country goes broke.
