Anti-Semitism And The Democratic Party
This is nothing new. In 1939, when the Holocaust was being prepared, the sainted President Franklin D. Roosevelt ordered the MS Saint Louis turned back to Europe, though it was in sight of Florida. It was loaded with hundreds of Jewish refugees. Yes, real refugees. At least half of them were murdered in the Holocaust. But Roosevelt and the Democrats had no room for them at the inn.
I am called an extreme conservative, or even far-right. But did you ever hear about an extreme liberal, or far-left? No? Why not? If classical liberal views make me far-right, does this tell you about me, or about those who see a classical liberal as far-right? If you are far to the left, nearly anything looks far right.
I am a John F. Kennedy Democrat, now called Republican. Kennedy was a decorated combat veteran, strongly anti-communist, for a strong defense, and against high taxes. He surely sounded more like Trump than like Harris. Odd how that works.
But if I still have any doubts, I can read this, and feel even more repulsed by the blatant anti-Semitism of what now calls itself the Democratic Party, but which is in fact the Socialist Party. No thanks. I’ve already had a large serving of anti-Semitism. It left me with serious heartburn. I really don’t want another helping.
