NASA Can’t Rescue Astronauts, But Is DEI

Free Beacon: NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab Laid Off 900 Workers Due to Budget Cuts but Hasn’t Fired Its Top DEI Officer

Oh, I see. NASA was unable to rescue the two astronauts it sent to the International Space Station, and left them marooned there for nine months. During this time, they suffered what is probably irreversible bone and muscle loss. The female astronaut looked as thin as a concentration camp survivor. She very well might have died if Elon Musk’s SpaceX had not brought them home.

But don’t worry. All is well at NASA. They may be laying off employees, but the top DEI officer still has a job. NASA may have failed miserably at its primary job, but at least it is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. And that’s what’s important, isn’t it?

No, it isn’t. NASA, air traffic controllers, our military, and other personnel with human lives in their hands need to be proficient at their jobs. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are optional, but proficiency is required. We used to know that. Time to relearn it, before DEI spells DIE.

Forget the phony eye patch, but note the alarmingly thin arm and leg. She wouldn’t have lasted much longer. Remember this photo the next time you hear a critic of Elon Musk calling him a Nazi. No, it was the Nazis who made people look like this.
