War On Pete Hegseth’s Tattoos
Upset over Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s tattoo of the Arabic word Kaffir on his arm? Read this. Then consider: 1) How is this any of our business? and 2) If a billion Muslims consider him a nonbeliever, what is wrong with being proud of it?
I dislike tattoos, because I believe the Bible forbids tattoos and body piercing. But an actress I follow tattooed the date of her beloved dog’s death on her arm. That I understand all too well. And if I were deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan, I would be hard pressed to reject a unit tattoo.
With that brief disclaimer, I revert to my initial comment: It’s none of our business.
