Everybody is afraid of something. I am afraid of criminals like this. Democrats are afraid of the federal agents who are locking them up and trying to deport them.
Everybody has empathy for someone. I have empathy for the victims of their drug trafficking, human trafficking, and other violent crimes. Democrats have empathy for them.
Courts have a duty to protect people and apply the law. I want to apply the law to protecting the innocent. Democrats, and some judges, want to apply the law to protecting people like these criminals.
Justice is like money. The more we squander on the guilty, the less we have to give to their victims. And here we are. We may wish there were an unlimited supply of justice. In theory, there is. But in practice, there isn’t. So you tell me, how shall we spend it?
