L.A. Film Industry Dying

Hollywood is dying. It’s not dead yet, but it resembles Detroit as the auto industry was leaving town. High taxes, crushing regulations, high cost of living, and an anti-business climate are obvious causes. That is, obvious to everyone except the Democrats who hold EVERY state office, as well as super-majorities in both houses of the legislature. If you wanted a recipe for inaction and stagnation, you could not do better.

Soon, referring to the movie industry as “Hollywood” will be like calling Detroit “Motor City” – an expression of nostalgia, not reality.
