It is Cinco de Mayo. So to raise the Palestinian flag, we must pull down not the American flag but the Mexican flag. Sure gets complicated. To make things simpler, how about this: Just raise the American flag, our flag. Other flags can go on other buildings for other purposes. But on our main flagpole, we have only one flag, our national flag, Old Glory. Now there’s an innovative idea. Worth trying?
