Does Caitlin Clark Have Permanent Hearing Loss?

Then: Caitlin Clark hit on side of head, falls down holding ear. Neither refs, nor coach, nor trainer, nor team mates, nor anyone else notes blood in ear canal, clearly visible on internet. No foul called. No concussion protocol. Commentator says she didn’t see contact. So where did the blood come from? The Planet Mongo?

Now: Clark talking to reporter on phone. Says, “You can’t ask a question on the phone, I can’t hear.”

Question: Has Clark suffered permanent hearing loss from blow to head?

This is not boxing, MMA, or rugby. This is women’s basketball. Either make it reasonably safe with good officiating, or just forget the whole thing, quit pretending, and call it “Girls’ Fight Club.” You’ll get a lot of viewers. But not me.
