Microsoft dumps thousands of American workers in favor of cheaper foreign techies

Apparently Bill Gates and Microsoft didn’t get the memo. We are no longer interested in laying off American workers and filling their positions with foreigners who will work for less money and benefits.

No, we are now interested in American jobs for our own people. Didn’t Trump speak plainly enough for you? I understood him quite well, as did enough voters to elect him.

Microsoft may consider itself a global company. But its headquarters and base of operations are here. Best not antagonize us. All my computers have been PCs. But my wife’s Mac is really attractive. Think I might try one myself. As my wife will tell you, I have many faults. But a poor memory is not among them.
