Did they? Did the man and woman in Cincinnati ask for this? A city councilwoman thinks so.
Note the sharply demarcated edges of the black eye. Black eyes from a punch are generally slightly blurred and irregular, like most bruises. A black eye this sharply delineated suggests that the blood did not originate around the eye. but seeped out from a basal skull fracture.
She needs at least a CAT scan and a concussion protocol. To leave this woman lying on the sidewalk to fend for herself is a sin. Those around her who did not call 911, not to mention the police who reportedly did nothing, will have a lot to answer for as they stand before the Throne of Judgment.
Of course, they don’t believe they will have to answer to a just God. And that is the source of the problem. But can you maintain a republic with citizens like this? I don’t think so.
The chief suspect was released on $4000 bail, of which he had to post only 10% or $400. Not bad for felonious assault causing a life-threatening injury. The victims got a very bad deal, while the offenders got a very good deal. But can you maintain a republic with a justice system like that? I don’t think so.
