In addition to being totally ludicrous, this headline is also incorrect. It should read, “Insignificant bruise on Trump’s hand sparks hopes he is dying.” The social media outpouring of hopes, even prayers, for his imminent death were revolting. But prayers to whom? Surely not the Judeo-Christian God, who clearly states that He does not wish for the death of the sinner, but that he turn from his evil ways and live.

But regarding the small bruise on his hand, the haters face disappointment. Many older people, including myself, have thin skin that bruises easily, especially on the forearms and back of the hand. Often minor trauma, or none at all, is identified. The whole story is a concoction of hysterical imaginings.

Trump may live for another 20 years, or he may die tomorrow. If it’s your time, you go. If it’s not your time, you stay. But we never know what that time is. Only He knows. All we can do is the best we can while we are here. So relax, haters. Seething with rage only shortens whatever time you have.
