Nazis In Schools and Universities…Again

The more things change, the more they remain the same. My parents were in Vienna in 1932-1933, during the rise of Nazism. Then as now, universities were hotbeds of radical ideology.

At the world-renowned University of Vienna, my mother saw a young Jewish student kicked down the stairs by thugs with swastika armbands, while other students stood around and watched. The only conclusion: They’re baaack!

Now the question is this. Like the Austrian students of those days, are we also going to just stand around and watch? Or are we going to kick the thugs out of our schools and universities? Yes, they are OUR schools and universities, not the government’s. Let the Nazis, the communists, and the freaks open their own schools and universities, if they can, but stay the hell out of ours.
