My Uncle At Mühldorf

For those useful idiots who post glowing images and adulatory text about Hitler on X and elsewhere, check out this webpage. It lists the dead at Mühldorf, one of several sub-camps of Dachau Concentration Camp. The camp is in southern Germany and was liberated by U.S. troops in late April and early May, 1945.

Note that many deaths occurred during this time. The starving inmates were fed too quickly. Glucose rushed into the cells carrying potassium with it. This left serum potassium dangerously low, and fatal cardiac arrythmias resulted. Soon we learned to re-feed starving people more slowly.

My interest in this web page is that the first name, Abraham Stolinsky, was I believe my uncle, whom I never met, my father’s eldest brother. He chose to remain in Poland while my father struck out for the New World as a teenager. My father served in the U.S. Army in World War I. I still have his dog tag. It carries his name, his serial number, and U.S.A. I treasure it as a memento of his service.

His brother also got a number. It was tattooed on his arm. It was lost, along with the man himself, in the Holocaust. Those who deny the Holocaust, and who adulate Hitler, should ask my uncle’s opinion of all this. If they can find him. I am no expert, but I do not believe these Nazi lovers are going to the same place my uncle went.
