Mississippi No Longer Burning

Here we see the three civil rights workers who disappeared in Mississippi while attempting to register African Americans to vote during the civil rights struggles of the 1960s. Their bodies were eventually found in a swamp, together in death as they had been in life.

The FBI eventually broke up the Klan in Mississippi. In those days the FBI was headed by J. Edgar Hoover. He was no friend of civil rights, but he was an implacable enemy of law breakers, including the KKK and the Nazis. I leave it to you to decide whether today’s FBI is an improvement.

It you want a fictionalized but excellent portrayal of these events, watch “Mississippi Burning.” The performances of Willem Dafoe and Gene Hackman are outstanding.

Now Candace Owens says that “Jewish people were in control” of the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Yes, and Jews spread the bubonic plague by poisoning the wells, right, Candace?

I guess this is her way of saying “Thank you” for all the support we Jews gave Blacks for the civil rights movement and Dr. King.

But hey, Candace. Do you think, just possibly, that it is a sin to spit on the graves of those two young Jewish men, Goodman and Schwerner? People who turn on their friends in the end will have no friends.
