“Jesus Was A Palestinian” Really?
The land in which Jesus was born was called Judea. Check out the Gospel according to Luke that is read every Christmas Eve. The Romans renamed it Palestina a century after Jesus died.
The Romans got tired of putting down Jewish rebellions. They expelled the Jews and removed Judea, land of the Jews, and renamed it Palestina, land of the Philistines, enemies of the Jews who were by then extinct.
To say Jesus was born in Palestine is an anachronism similar to saying he was born in the Bronx. Nothing against the Bronx, it just didn’t exist yet.
