“Indefensible”

Feds using tear gas on anti-ICE demonstration in Portland is “indefensible” because a little girl was present.

Indefensible? I’ll tell you what is indefensible: Bringing a small child to a demonstration that YOU KNOW could turn violent, just to get the image for social media.

The primary job of a parent or other relative is to protect children, not use them for politics. But that only shows how incredibly old-fashioned I am.

And if the feds had not used tear gas, the demonstration might have grown to the point that the child could have been crushed. What then? You would still blame the feds for allowing the demonstration to deteriorate into anarchy. Anarchy is not good for children or other growing things. Those who create it will bear the blame.
