Mexico Under Siege By Cartels

After a major cartel boss is killed in a joint US-Mexico raid, violence breaks out in widespread locations. Americans are warned not to go to Mexico, and those already there are warned to shelter in place.

A narco-state is not a stable entity, any more than New York was stable when it was controlled by the five Mafia families. There were recurrent, bloody Mafia wars. Things in Mexico appear to be coming apart. If these reports are even partly true, Mexico is going through a painful time of unrest.

Who will win, the cartels or the honest Mexicans? And how much help can we give, before the honest Mexicans are viewed as US stooges? Stay tuned.

But remember, this is OUR fault. The reason Mexico became a narco state was to supply our boundless lust for drugs. We turned our nation into a gigantic vacuum cleaner, sucking up every particle of drug and asking for more. Why is Mexico a narco state? Look in the mirror.
