Don’t Speak Irish In Ireland?
Foreign born taxi driver in Ireland tells two passengers to stop speaking Irish because it makes him feel uncomfortable.
This is arrogance to the point of malignant narcissism. You are a guest in my house. I don’t follow your rules, you follow mine or get out. You don’t speak Gaelic? So don’t speak it, or learn it. You don’t like dogs? So don’t own one, but don’t touch mine if you wish to remain healthy. You don’t eat during the day in the month of Ramadan? So don’t eat, but I’m having a ham sandwich, until Lent begins, that is.
Understand the concept of guest, or you will cease to be one.
