Jewish students have been served bacon and ham since there were public school meals. There never was a problem. The Jewish kids ate what they wanted, like everyone else. But the Muslims insist that everyone conform to THEM. That is the problem: a feeling of entitlement.

If you are a guest in my house, you conform to my rules and customs, or you leave. We’ve had vegetarian dinner guests. We offered a vegetarian dish, but we had meat. That’s respect for differences. But they didn’t demand that we eat vegetarian. That would be narcissistic and just plain rude.
