Sen. John Fetterman says fellow Democrats lost male voters to Trump by ‘insulting’ them, being ‘condescending’

Despite a serious stroke and clinical depression, Sen. John Fetterman (D,PA) makes more sense than most of his colleagues. True, this does not say much, but it is true nonetheless. Perhaps. because he is 6’8″ tall, he can simply see further.

Of course the recent Democrat campaign was insulting and condescending to male voters. How could it not be? It was also insulting and condescending to Black voters, and to rural voters, and to Christian voters, and to Jewish voters, and to gun-owning voters, and to veteran voters, and to proud American voters, and to Constitution-loving voters.

In fact, if you gathered together all the voters to whom the Harris campaign was insulting and condescending, it would make a very large crowd. What is more, it would make a crowd of people I would value as friends. And that really says it all.

That’s the problem with elitists. They talk only to other elitists, whom they deem worthy of their exalted status and profound intellects. They read only their own material, listen to their own TV, visit their own websites. and never – never – listen to talk radio. They might hear a conservative thought.

So Sen. Fetterman is correct. The Dems were insulting and condescending. But how else could they be? They regard their opponents as “deplorables” and “garbage.” Why, in Heaven’s name (literally), would you want to put people who look down upon you so harshly in positions of power over you?

It is said that Lenin, the founder of the Soviet Union, regarded the common people as “cattle.” But he said this only in private, so the people didn’t know it. They allowed the communist regime to rule them for 72 miserable years. But our elitists are less cautious. They express their contempt openly. No matter what Fetterman wisely counsels them, they can’t change. They hold us in contempt. And now the feeling is mutual.
