Worst US school massacre was in 1927, killed 45 including 38 children, used dynamite. Today’s massacre horrible. But the fundamental flaw is not “assault” rifles, large capacity magazines, NRA, gun makers, or the usual suspects. It is people who don’t believe “Thou shalt not murder.”

Harden schools, double doors (man trap), armed adults. More mental health care, including involuntary commitment if necessary. Encourage fathers in the home, don’t discourage them. Recognize that aborting viable babies does not increase respect for young life. But in the end, understand that if we don’t teach kids moral values, at least the Ten Commandments, we leave them dangerously vulnerable to their worst emotions.
