There is a legend that when a camel feels it is dying, it will drag itself miles across the desert to fall into a well and poison it. Perhaps the camel merely wants a drink, but the net effect is the same. Why do I think of this legend when I see President Biden speaking?

In this case, the well is our constitutional republic of 330 million citizens. But the poison does not come from a moribund animal carcass. It comes from a moribund ideology: state socialism and central control of all aspects of daily life, foisted on disarmed subjects by a moribund president. Frankly I prefer the camel in the well.
