We know a great deal about the Nashville Presbyterian School shooter. We know she murdered 3 children and 3 adults. We know she was armed with 2 rifles and 1 pistol, and had other guns at home. We know she had planned the crime and had a diagram of the school. We know she shot her way through 2 glass doors. We know she was troubled and identified as a man.

But the most important thing we don’t know: motive. She left a manifesto, but we are unsure when, or if, it will be revealed. This uncertainty leads to speculation. Did she hate Christians? Did she hate the cis-gendered? Was this a hate crime? Was there another, more bizarre motive? Of course, if she were a Christian and murdered 6 transgendered persons, the motive would be trumpeted across the world by leftist media. So let’s stop playing coy and publish the manifesto. This would end speculation and start productive dialogue. Ignorance helps no one.
