Tuesday is Election Day. Friday is Veterans Day. Surely you see the connection. Of Friday we honor those who fought and bled to preserve our freedom. On Tuesday we exercise that freedom by voting for candidates who love freedom as much as we do.

Look at this photo. Soldiers are joining hands for a brief prayer. Going out on patrol? Praying for a wounded comrade? Black, Brown, White, note the blonde. They risk their lives for one another. Surely we can just get along. We owe it to them. And we owe them elected officials who value freedom as much as they do. Well, nearly as much.
