Jan. 6 Committee Falsified Evidence

1) The committee added audio to silent Capitol Police security video, without making clear that this had been done. The TV presentation influenced the public, perhaps including the judges and jurors. If we still had a justice system, the Jan. 6 charges would be dismissed. But all we have left is a legal system, so no problem.

2) The committee report refers to a “riot.” No one was charged with rioting. There was no evidence police ever announced an illegal assembly and ordered people to disperse. This is legally required to declare a riot, ever since the British Riot Act of 1714. It is the literal meaning of “reading the riot act.” Nobody did so, therefore legally there was no riot, and to claim there was can prejudice judges and jurors.
