2 years of Covid didn’t just make us fed up with fear stories. It caused learned helplessness. Repeated physical or emotional abuse can make kids passive, just sit and take it. Perhaps this is why Americans, Europeans are blasé about the threat of nuclear war, passive, apathetic.
