• Kyle Rittenhouse was tried and acquitted for shooting three members of a mob that was chasing him, using racial slurs, and threatening to kill him. But he is hated by progressives because he stopped running away, turned, and defended himself.

• Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R, GA) and renowned virologist Dr. Robert Malone were banned from social media for spreading “misinformation” about Covid and other topics. But they would not have been banned if they posted that 2+2=5, or that California is on the Atlantic coast. They were banned, and hated by progressives, for the same reason that Kyle Rittenhouse is hated: They stopped running away, turned, and defended themselves.

That is something totalitarians just cannot tolerate. Refuse to go with the crowd? Stop running away? Turn and defend yourself? Act like an independent human being? What? That will anger the ruling class. That will upset their sheep-like followers. Dissidents like them must be silenced. Otherwise who knows what trouble they could make for the ruling elite? What if others followed their example?
