• 2022: Biden orders Special Operations assault on Isis leader Al-Qurayshi, killing him and uncertain number of women and children. The Left in US and abroad (as if there were any difference) grumbles but raises no alarm.

It is a cliché to say that if the Left didn’t have double standards, they would have no standards at all. But the reason something becomes a cliché is that it is generally true. Almost anything their guy does is okay. Almost anything the other guy does is evil, criminal, and disgusting.

That’s not a moral compass, even a broken one. It’s just a playbook.
