US closes coal-fired power plants, closes cleaner gas-fired plants, closes nuclear plants that have zero carbon footprint. We plan to rely on erratic wind power, solar that shines only by day. We cripple energy production, while China builds coal-fired plants. China, India, Africa industrialize, while we more backward. Environment not helped, our economy hurt. Why?
