More New Yorkers Pushed Onto Subway Tracks

By | October 31, 2022 | 0 Comments

In all 2021, 21 New Yorkers were pushed onto subway tracks. This year the total is already 25, with 3 fatalities plus serious injuries, PTSD. Some cases are due to a social media “knockout game.” In the 1990s Mayor Giuliani and Police Commissioner Bratton used the “broken windows” approach. They dramatically cut serious crime by enforcing laws against minor crime. Now we do the opposite.

We know what worked, but we refuse to do it. Why? What is the real motivation behind tolerating, even encouraging, people being shoved onto train tracks? Is the motive psychological or political? Who profits from social chaos?
