Electric Cars And Native Lands

By | July 11, 2023 | 0 Comments

• Unsold electric cars piling up at dealerships.
• Ice cream makers Ben and Jerry claim much land stolen from Native Americans, but then their own land is declared “stolen” by chief.

What do these two news items have in common? This lesson: When you try to force people to accept things or ideas they find offensive, you meet resistance – first intellectual, then physical. Most people don’t want electric cars, with their 1000 pound batteries that take all night to recharge. and their limited range. Most people don’t want woke ideology, with its constant “us vs them” notions of victimhood.

How about offering people what they want? Now there’s an interesting idea, both as a business model and as a way of life.
