You shall not do injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor show a preference for the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.– Leviticus 19:15
Dennis Prager points out that some words must not be modified by adjectives or they lose their meaning. For example, there is justice. Once we call it “social justice,” it is no longer justice but socialism with redistribution of wealth. Then there is democracy. Once we call it a “people’s democracy,” it is no longer democracy but a communist dictatorship ruled by a central committee.
Here, Thomas Sowell and Ben Shapiro talk about “social justice.” When a wise old man and a wise young man get to talking, we would be wise to listen. Who knows? We might learn something.
