UC Berkeley Is Anti-Semitic, No Use Denying It

My alma mater has become anti-Semitic. One can no longer ignore the sad fact. When I went there years ago, from my freshman year to the senior year of medical school, I ran into exactly one instance of possible anti-Semitism. One of two interviewers for medical school insisted I had an accent and said “goink” instead of going. Since I was born in Saint John’s Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota, this seemed unlikely. But I still got into med school.

But things have changed, and not all for the better. Students no longer take lecture notes with fountain pens. And when they go through Sather Gate, they are no longer harassed by leftist activists for the Free Speech Movement, as we were. On the contrary, they are harassed, or actually assaulted, by leftist anti-Semites posing as pro-Palestinians. They risk being hit, spat on, or actually choked hard enough to cause neck bruises.

Back where I come from, this is called felony assault, and punished with expulsion and time in the county jail if they are lucky, and a trip to the emergency department if they are unlucky. You see, I come from America. I’m getting really homesick. Can anyone tell me how to get back there again?
