Dead Men Working

Report: Elon Musk’s “What did you do last week?” email to federal workers was not, as we thought, an effort to root out lazy workers. No, it was an effort to root out nonexistent workers.

We already knew about dead people voting, in some cases so numerous as to change the course of elections. But now we learn about federal paychecks going to nonexistent workers doing nonexistent work, and paid under the Social Security numbers of dead people.

But we should not be surprised. When someone starts turning over rocks, who knows what he will find? All we can be sure of is that the disgusting creatures will not be beautiful or useful. No butterflies or honey bees. Just worms, bugs, and dead men working.
