One Wanted To Fight, One Wanted Out?
Maybe one wanted to fight and one wanted out, but which was which? Perhaps the guy who committed the disabling foul was the one who wanted out. It worked, didn’t it?
This was MMA in the octagon, not Roman gladiatorial games in the Colosseum. Remember, “gladiator” means one who carries a gladius, the Roman short sword. It wasn’t for cleaning your ears.
You can’t have MMA, or boxing, or wresting, or judo, or karate, or even WNBA if you allow dangerous fouls with no penalty. You allow Caitlin Clark or Tom Aspinall to be poked in the eye, and you take a step toward killing the sport. You want to watch this? I don’t. I won’t.
