In past, offender would be charged with assault with deadly weapon, spend years in prison. Now probably charged with disorderly conduct, given probation. Beautiful city where my wife was born and I grew up turned into junkyard where kids walk past drug dealers and mentally ill homeless to go to school, where they learn leftism is the wave of the future.
